Halloween is almost here and if you didn’t have a chance to buy or create your custom I have 5 easy Halloween costumes ideas for you. Halloween is that day when you can be creative and you can be who you want to be for one night. I love this concept, I love that during Halloween we can be as crazy and as creative as we want. There are no rules and no dress codes (unless you count dress up for Halloween as a dress code). Sure, you want to look your best in your Halloween costume so you can adapt a certain look to fit your body and make you look amazing. That’s why I’ve made a list of costumes you can put together with what you already have in your wardrobe, not a list of costumes you can buy, but other than that, there are no restrictions.
Mysha will help you with some make-up ideas later on this week (Wednesday to be specific) so you’ll have all you need to get ready for a crazy Halloween party!
Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s
A classic will never go out of style plus it is very easy to create this look with the little black dress you have in your wardrobe and some simple accessories you can purchase if you do not have them already.
The black dress can be that one dress that look good on your body, it shouldn’t be the same shape or length as Audrey Hepburn’s dress.
You can be a sexy pirate without showing too much skin. An off-the shoulder white top combined with simple black pants, a statement belt, a chain necklace, a red or black vest, over the knee boots and a classy pirate hat will do the trick. If you do not have a pirate hat, use a red triangle scarf.
She is classy, well loved and her clothes look good on everybody! Those are good reasons to try a Mary Poppins outfit this year. Your skirt can be midi or maxi, you can use a simple black hat or you can add flowers to be as close to Mary Poppins’ look as possible but what matters the most when it comes to this character is her personality so work on that, I’m sure it will be fun. Oh, and don’t forget your umbrella!
There are so many ways you can recreate the mime look but they are all simple and you most probably have everything in your closet.
You need a black and white striped top, black pants and black or black and white Oxford shoes as your main clothing articles. When it comes to accessories you can add a black beret, black suspenders, a black bow tie and white gloves. You can put your spin on the classic make-up to show a bit of your personality through your mime look.
Rosie the Riveter
If you are a feminist, this should be your go to look this Halloween. It is so easy to dress up like Rosie the Riveter, all you need is a simple pair of pants, a denim shirt and a red bandana. Can it get easier than this? I don’t think so! Don’t forget to show your muscles and act like a badass!
I hope this easy Halloween costumes will be very useful if you didn’t get a chance to create a complicated costume or if you don’t want to spend a lot of time looking for or creating your costume.
