I have been thinking a lot lately about which item is my favorite from an outfit. And I think that I came to terms with myself and the answer is COATS. I don’t exactly know why, but I really, really like them. I have so many of them. This year only I bought four of them.
- Ferragamo Red Jacket
- Zara black jacket
- Pinko grey jacket
- Etam pattern jacket
And even if I got already four this year, I still want more. Actually I just want one of faux-fur and I will be done. For this year. But a girl can dream of as many jackets and coats as she wants. So I started browsing the internet in the search for the coats you should add to your wardrobe this upcoming cold season. And I made a list for you!
The classic loved by everyone – beige coat – is in again and we couldn’t be happier. If you don’t have one already from last year, you can find one at TopShop, A.P.C., Asos, H&M, Zara or Gap.
Bonus – brown GAP coat
And the same goes for the simple black and navy blue autumn coats, parkas and jackets. You definitely have one already in your wardrobe. Now that I think about it – I don’t have a navy blue one in my collection. I should sort that out! The ones below are Zara, Gather & See, Plumo, Michael Kors, Dorothy Perkins, TopShop and Marks& Spencer.
Short jackets are amazing when it’s cold, but not that cold. Also if you are not very tall, short jackets will look better on you. And they also make it easier for people to see what you are wearing from below the waist. Go short with these ones from French Connection, Saint Laurent, MiH, River Island, H&M and Rebecca Taylor.
Another type of autumn coats that I currently love is the colorful ones. Actually I think it has to do more with the colors, not with the coats. But I am super happy to see that you can find also some coats in some gorgeous colors. In the photos you can find coats from Asos
, & Other Stories
, Dorothy Perkins
And lastly, I want to suggest something I have been keeping as a secret for a while now – I absolutely LOVE patterns. In the past years, I have been trying to keep my clothes simple, with no patterns. But now I am starting to rediscover them. And if you are not usually doing patterns, you should start doing it! These autumn coats are from Chicnova, H&M, Mango and Carven.
