The second article from the body shape summer outfits series is here. Today I’m talking about outfits for the women with the inverted triangle body shape. If you are not sure what body type you have, check out this article. Also, don’t forget to check your vertical body type to make sure you know exactly what to wear and how to wear it. These steps are important if you want to understand your body and to dress according to its needs. Adapt the trends to your body and you will look your best. After all, this is what we all should want to do in order to be fashionable and happier.
When it comes to your body type, you should remember one trick and all your outfits will look amazing on you: add volume to your hip-line and avoid extra volume and details in the upper body, especially in the shoulder area. If you have a large bust, check out this article too.
Since your shoulder are larger than your hips and/ or breasts larger than your derriere, keep things as simple as possible up and as crazy as possible down. Well, not necessarily crazy, but you got the picture!
A-line dresses, pleated dresses, flare dresses, peplum dresses, all are good for you. You can add prints and embellishments as well.
Change the colors, change the shoes, but keep the styles!
Wide legged pants, cullotes and other voluminous design pants are great for your body type. If you prefer skinny jeans, choose a lighter color and add some details around the hip line or wear a peplum top. Flare pants and wide legged pants are making a comeback this season, so give them a try.
I think you got the idea by now, but I really had to share this outfit with you! I love those flowery shorts!
As for the tops, try to keep things simple and add accessories for stylish accents. Don’t forget to check the entire inverted triangle section to make sure you have all the tips you need.
